Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the H1B Sponsorship Score?

The Sponsorship Score is H1BTracker's proprietary grading system that rates employers from A (best) to F based on four factors: approval rate (40%), wage vs prevailing wage (30%), sponsorship volume consistency (20%), and denial rate (10%).

Where does this data come from?

All data comes from the U.S. Department of Labor's Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data (LCA/H1B). This is public record data that employers must file when sponsoring an H1B visa.

How often is the data updated?

The DOL publishes updated LCA disclosure data quarterly. We re-process and re-score all employers each quarter, typically within a week of the data release.

What does the wage vs prevailing wage ratio mean?

Employers must pay H1B workers at least the prevailing wage for their role and location. A ratio above 100% means the employer pays above the required minimum. Higher ratios indicate more competitive compensation.

Does JP Morgan Chase sponsor H1B visas?

Yes, JP Morgan Chase is one of the largest H1B sponsors in the financial services industry. Search for JP Morgan Chase on H1BTracker to see their approval rate, average salaries offered, number of applications, and Sponsorship Score.

How do I find out if a company sponsors H1B visas?

Search the company name on H1BTracker. Every employer that has filed an H1B Labor Condition Application (LCA) with the Department of Labor appears in our database. You can see their sponsorship history, approval rates, and salary ranges for sponsored roles.
